It isn't always the victim of a crime waiting to happen is able to escape unscathed. Luckily for one man, his ability to think on his feet saved both his own life and his car from being stolen by brazen thugs.
In a hair-raising clip shared by Twitter user, @advobarryroux, the man can be seen minding his own business while filling up his car with petrol when a group of thugs approach him. Cleverly, the man uses the petrol nozzle to spray the unexpectant thugs who quickly flee from the scene.
"South Africa is a crime scene," advobarryroux captioned the clip.

In other harrowing Briefly News reports, another robbery has hit a South African shopping and the latest video from a social media user is doing the rounds on social media. @YusufAbramjee has posted a video clip of robbers hijacking a jewellery store in Durban at a mall known as Pavillion Shopping Mall.
The video was posted on Thursday morning but it remains unclear when did the thugs made their entry into the shop or at the mall. Abramjee posted on his Twitter timeline:
“Pavillion Shopping Mall, Durban: jewellery store robbed. #CrimeWatch.”
