MacG has criticised celebrities who practice "selective" cancel culture. The host of Podcast and Chill with MacG came out guns blazing in his latest episode posted on YouTube recently.
The star called out activists, especially Mzansi celebs, who cancel people who are not close to them but keep quiet when other celebs within their circle are being dragged on social media.
MacG and his crew were called out by celebs such as Thando Thabethe and Rami Chuene when they were dragged for making insensitive jokes about the LGBTQI+ community.
"These celebrities jump on because they just wanna trend and jump on whatever outrage is happening at the time."
MacG slammed Thando Thabooty for not saying anything when DJ Fresh was trending a few weeks back when a woman accused him of raping her. MacG believes Thando should have called Fresh out because she's a GBV activist.
He told her to be consistent. MacG even went as far as saying the stunner should stick to "posting nudes on Instagram" because her podcast numbers are "horrible".
"Nobody wants to hear what she wants to say. She's a scam. That's why 5FM demoted her to graveyard. She must keep posting nudes on Instagram... She did not say anything about Fresh but she's got a lot on us because we're nobodies. Be consistent."

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Thandiswa Mazwai denied cancelling MacG following his transphobic comments in his latest podcast. The host of Podcast and Chill with MacG trended on social media this week after he and his crew discussed sensitive issues about the LGBTQI+ community.
MacG's comments sparked a heated debate on Twitter with some people calling for his podcast to be cancelled while others were defending him. Thandiswa Mazwai also joined Mzansi tweeps and shared her two cents on MacG's comments.
A local publication then published that the singer and another muso Langa Mavuso joined others in cancelling MacG following his homophobic jokes. Replying to the publication's tweet, the Bongo Maffin star said the article was not true. She said she doesn't believe in cancel culture.
