Makhadzi, who has taken the initiative to help Dr. Malinga get back on his feet, told her Twitter followers that she has been in touch with him. The Limpopo songstress said:

"I finally got Dr Malinga. I promise to not exploit him but share the little I have with him."

Earlier on Friday, Makhadzi posted that she was looking for Dr. Malinga and sent him a direct message because she wanted to book him to perform at her one-woman show.

Dr. Malinga went to Podcast and Chill with MacG and broke down, revealing that SARS repossessed his property and prized possessions because he owed over R2 million in unpaid tax.

Netizens responded to Makhadzi's generosity and debated how most artists manage their finances poorly.

@Element_E_ said:

"Dr. Malinga could've elevated himself when he was at his peak. He flopped by not seeking advice from his mentor @OskidoIBelieve on how to run a record label. He's a brilliant entertainer and musician, but he could've protected his assets."

@MicahDaMusic tweeted:

"They said MacG is killing people’s dreams, but all I see is wonders every time someone goes there. Why can’t they just say it again that Podcast is building dreams? Big ups to you!"

@Touchmak_SA wrote:

"Appreciation for you Makhadzi, I think the best way to was not to put it on social media that you wanna help him. That alone has killed the man's confidence, you could have just announced that you will be performing with Dr. Malinga. Words like "exploiting" are unnecessary."

@zothi1606 suggested:

"Sisi please also never forget to pay SARS. Love you!"

@Mamboh13 shared:

"May God bless you, Makhadzi!!! You are the only one who listened. I’m proud to be a woman. Malinga didn’t blow his money, but it was admin issues with professionals he trusted. Here is a family man, loving his wife and kids, needing help. You just came forward like God."

@Jslava1 said:

"Somebody give me directions to Makhuvha stadium to witness the energies of Makhazhi and Dr. Malinga! This will be great, and thank you khaladzi for your soul bearing."
