South African reality TV star Jojo Robinson's husband, Calven Robinson, recently went under the knife. Jojo's Boo Bear underwent cosmetic eyebrow lift surgery due to health reasons.

The Real Housewives of Durban star Jojo Robinson took to social media to explain why her hubby decided to go the cosmetic route and gave an update on his healing journey seven days post-surgery.

Jojo explains Calven's decision to have surgery

On Instagram, the TV personality posted a video of her bae before, during and after the Blepharoplasty. Calven's bruised face was posted for Jo's 285K followers to see, but there is a significant reason behind this.

"BOO BEAR had an eyebrow lift and blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago, with my favourite and my personal plastic surgeon @drpaulmcgarr. He did it because his vision was impaired from the overhanging skin, so he had to do this surgery to open his eyes up. (I did not ask for nor want this surgery. It was recommended by his eye specialist)," she clarified.

The star revealed that this was recommended by their doctor, adding that Calven's face changed due to his career as a kickboxing champion and martial artist.

"This is his healing in the first week. Just btw, it was actually needed for his impaired vision due to years of being in the fighting ring, but ultimately the surgery just made him cuter anyway. Like a cutie little bear with wide eyes. He says he highly recommends this surgery, should you need it. Very little pain ( boo bear said none) and next to no downtime. He even did it in the surgeon's room, so no anaesthesia."

She then recommended people to use the doctor's services if they have droopy eyes.

"Hope that helps. If your man's eyes are droopy and stuff, or even yours, no one wants a droopy eye. Dr McGarr, I stan. The best surgeon in South Africa. Boo bear has approved posting this video."

Jojo previously faced backlash from her followers, who claimed that her insecurities were rubbing off on him. This is because Jojo has also undergone multiple surgeries.
