Radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo has sent tongues wagging after casually revealing on X that Vusi Thembekwayo owes him money, following a court victory he never publicly announced.

The nonchalant post has set Mzansi alight, with fans marvelling at how quietly the media personality handled what appears to be a significant legal win.

Sizwe Dhlomo's court win

It was a fan, not Sizwe himself, who first spilt the beans. On Monday, 10 August 2026, X user @invakha posted that Sizwe had "handed Vusi Thembekwayo his bottom again in court," without breathing a word about it, adding that "he is a better human than us."

Sizwe's response was characteristically understated, writing simply: "He actually owes me money now... 🤷🏾‍♂️"

Court documents visible in the post reference the High Court of South Africa Gauteng Division, Pretoria, Case No: 2024/148555, dated 5 June 2026, relating to a restraining or interdict order involving both men. The two have been at loggerheads for some time, with their public dispute previously touching on a R45,000 mentorship fee that Thembekwayo allegedly owed Dhlomo.

Mzansi reacts to the legal saga

The post drew a flood of reactions, ranging from admiration for Sizwe's composure to outright scepticism about whether he would ever collect the debt.

@invakha urged restraint: "Prove him right that u are unpredictable and let it go"

@will5426 was more curious: "Are you planning on collecting the money? Or you just gonna be kind and let it slide?"

@Sunflowerreal joked about the legal costs involved: "He has to pay thee most expensive lawyers 😭Webber Wentzel"

Not everyone was on Sizwe's side, though. @v_ulture had a blunt take: "I'm team Vusi on this one, Sizwe is one of those people I want in a fist fight, nothing else, I want him in a fist. Then, when he loses, I want to see his face. He acts very tough and privileged on social media, like he releases gold or something."
