Nasty C is feeling the love after one of his biggest career wins yet. The Juice Back rapper shared a heartfelt message on Instagram on 18 August 2026, addressing both his team and his supporters following his victory at the 32nd South African Music Awards, where his album Free took home Best Hip Hop Album.
Rather than taking all the credit for himself, Nasty C used the moment to shine a light on the people behind the project.
"Hip Hop Album of the Year. None of this happens without the team, the grind, and most importantly, all of you streaming and keeping the culture alive. Appreciate every single one of you!"
Released on 12 September 2025 through his own Tall Racks Records label, Free arrived as a bold declaration of artistic independence, following Nasty C's departure from Def Jam.

Nasty C announces his next move
With Free still topping charts, Nasty C is already setting his sights on what's next. He announced a joint album with long-time collaborator Tellaman, titled T's and C's Apply, which is scheduled for release on 1 September.
"Pre-save my brand new album T's and C's Apply right now through the link in my bio," he shared with fans.
The title is a clever play on the phrase "Terms and Conditions Apply," while also nodding to the initials of both artists, T for Tellaman and C for Nasty C.
