Londie London is not here for the social media name-calling — and she made that abundantly clear on Thursday's episode of the Read the Room podcast, where she sat down with co-host Shamiso and Phil Mphela to address Thandeka's public criticism head-on.

The drama traces back to a previously filmed interview with Thandeka that was riddled with complications, including unexpected power cuts throughout the shoot. But the real fallout came afterwards, when Thandeka took to social media to air her grievances, reportedly calling out both Londie and Shamiso by name and making a series of pointed allegations.

Londie London hits back

Londie made clear she had no issue with people sharing opinions but drew a firm line when those opinions are presented as facts online. "When you go out on social media, and you say what I'm saying about this person is a fact, now that's an allegation," she said on the podcast. She also took a moment to acknowledge the backhanded compliment buried in the criticism: "I love that she acknowledged that I am at the top, though. The London just came back."

On the prostitution allegation specifically, Londie did not deny saying something sharp in a previous episode but pushed back on the escalation. "If I had to be a, trusellingt me, I would be the most money Cever," she said, choosing to deflect with humour. She added that attacking another woman during August was particularly disappointing.

Shamiso Weighs In on the Misalignment

Shamiso brought a more structural critique to the table, explaining that the interview ran into trouble because there had been a breakdown in briefing. When the planned topic — Thandeka's brand — fell flat, the hosts had to improvise to fill the hour, which led to questions about Big Brother. Shamiso argued that any guest has the right to set boundaries before an interview, and that going into a space where you already feel on the defensive is a choice. "I personally wouldn't go and be interviewed by people that I low-key want to attack," she said.

She also pushed back against online commenters who criticised her for defending Londie. "I can't defend someone I've actually met. I've cried to her. I've celebrated her birthday. I've met her children," Shamiso explained, contrasting that with supporters who she feels have a purely parasocial relationship with Thandeka.
