The clip, posted by @esjaydoesdefi on social media, showed Sydney filming herself in a casual, selfie-style live stream from what appeared to be a modern apartment, complete with a visible kitchen and living room in the background. The robbery that left Sydney shaken
Sydney described walking back from a nearby shop, carrying a six-pack of Coke, when a man approached her and attempted to steal her phone. She said a getaway car was parked nearby, suggesting the attack was premeditated.

She told viewers, explaining that she had been carrying shopping at the time. Despite the shock of being pushed to the ground, she refused to let go of her phone and physically fought back.
She estimated the attacker was around 24 or 25 years old, while she was only 18 at the time of the incident. Reflecting on her decision to resist, she admitted it was not the wisest call.
"Now that I think about it, that's very bad of me because imagine I got hurt or shot or something, but yeah, he didn't end up getting my phone. And then I went home at the end. Are you guys impressed by me?"
