SNL comedian Marcello Hernández had the internet in stitches after he turned a major televised awards ceremony into what fans described as the most relatable dinner invitation in Hollywood history.

During the Emmy Awards, filmed indoors at a ceremony broadcast on NBC, Hernández took to the stage and did something no one expected: he personally invited Hollywood legends to his house for a meal, right there in front of a live audience.

Hernández's unforgettable Emmys moment

First in his sights was veteran actor Harrison Ford, whom Hernández greeted warmly before telling him:

He then turned his attention to Zendaya, gushing over her talent before admitting he had tried and failed to keep his cool.

"I saw you, and I wanted to play it cool, and I've decided I can do that. I would like to invite you and Spider-Man to have dinner at my house."

The reference to Zendaya's real-life partner Tom Holland by his Marvel character name sent the crowd into a frenzy, as did his pronunciation of the superhero's name in a Spanish-accented "Espiderman." Marcello Hernández invited celebrities over to his house and credited courtesy of the Television Academy and NBC; the moment spread rapidly online, with fans losing it over the comedian's natural charm and unfiltered energy.
