Sammie Heavens fires back with a reaction reel

Rather than keeping quiet, Sammie posted her own video on Instagram combining the event footage with a clip of herself dancing indoors against a black background, letting the overlay do the talking. She captioned the reel with the isiZulu phrase "Nkwenziwa njani mase kunje?" which roughly means "What are you supposed to do in a situation like this?" The tongue-in-cheek caption matched the playful energy of the post.
