Tebogo G Mashego is back at it, and this time he's setting his sights on the Scorpion Kings. The Amapiano singer, who rode to fame on the back of the smash hit Biri Marung, posted a casual outdoor video on Sunday, 20 September 2026, claiming that all the money generated by the Scorpion Kings event belongs to him.
The clip, filmed in what appears to be a residential neighbourhood with dirt roads and parked cars in the background, shows Mashego and a group of friends speaking directly into a handheld camera in a relaxed, vlog-style format.
Mashego and Maphorisa's bitter history
This is far from the first time Mashego has gone public with grievances about money. A few months ago, he accused DJ Maphorisa of failing to pay him for his contribution to Biri Marung. The dispute escalated in January 2026 when Maphorisa addressed the situation during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, 6 January 2026.

During that livestream, Maphorisa did not hold back. He claimed that Mashego had sworn at him publicly, yet he himself was "only going up." The Amapiano hitmaker also alleged that Mashego is a one-hit artist who did not write a single verse on the song, the very song he is now using to demand a cut of the Scorpion Kings' earnings.
