Lungani Rammaledi is not letting the naysayers have the last word. The boyfriend of former Real Housewives of Durban star Nonku Williams took to Instagram on Monday, 5 October 2026, to celebrate one full year together with his partner, and he made sure to address every doubter along the way.

In his post, Lungani did not hold back, calling out the "haters, sangomas, prophets, future tellers, mabone" who had predicted doom for the relationship. His message was clear: after 12 months, the couple remains "just strong, just safe, just blessed, just happy, just protected and just cute."

Nonku Williams and Lungani Rammaledi relationship history

The pair first went Instagram official in dramatic fashion when Nonku shared a video on her Instagram Stories after attending the National Film & TV Awards South Africa (NFTA) 2025 ceremony on 22 November 2025 at the State Theatre in Pretoria. Their public debut immediately caught the attention of Mzansi.

The road has not been entirely smooth. In February 2026, Lungani found himself at the centre of cheating allegations, with rumours circulating that he was involved with Nonku while still married. He confronted the situation head-on, calling out the individual he believed had started the claims and asking them to clarify publicly. Nonku stood firmly in his corner throughout, backing him in the comments. Many social media users were critical of the couple at the time, with sympathy directed towards a pregnant ex.
