A South African content creator who stumbled upon a Talk Radio 702 mic pop filter and turned it into comedy gold has landed herself a proper studio interview with the station it belongs to.
Ntathu Zungu, who splits her time between Gauteng, Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal, found the missing equipment and immediately saw an opportunity. Rather than hand it in, she started filming videos with it, interviewing animals, chatting to family members and generally having the time of her life pretending to be a broadcast journalist.
The clips spread fast. 702 took notice.
Ntathu meets Clement
On 19 August 2026, Talk Radio 702 posted a split-screen video to Instagram showing Ntathu in a video call alongside in-studio presenter Clement Manyathela. The station captioned the post:

"Twinkle twinkle little star, Ntathu Zungu has wandered into our studio with Clement Manyathela."
During the interview, Ntathu held her ground with charm. When Clement pressed her on where exactly she found the filter, she refused to reveal anything, quipping that:
"fibre is a very important source of nutrition."
She also explained that the whole thing started spontaneously. It was around 7 p.m.; she was with her family, and her mother encouraged her to post the first video. After that, she said, she simply could not stop. She had already spotted a cow nearby and decided to find out how it was feeling.
702 added that their "preliminary investigation" suggested the filter was likely not found in KwaZulu-Natal, narrowing it down to one of the other two provinces she frequents.
