What made her address especially powerful was the personal account she shared. She described going to the Ikageng police station to report a rape case, only to be met with questions about what she had been wearing at the time. She was clear in her message: a woman's clothing is never an invitation for violation. She urged authorities and law enforcement to work together and to stop dismissing the women and families who come to them desperately seeking justice.
