The 23-year-old shared that her biological mother died shortly after her birth, and nobody came to the hospital to collect her. Her father refused to be a single parent and never met Zinny:
“I was left at the hospital by myself because my bio dad didn’t want to take care of me.”
The youngster happened to be a sickly baby. Doctors believed that she would die before she could turn one year old. A nurse at the hospital fought hard for Zinny to get treatment and was committed to feeding her:

Young lady shares story of being adopted by White parents
A 23-year-old Zinny from Cape Town went viral on TikTok after sharing her heartwarming adoption story. The youngster explained that a nurse fought for her life after doctors believed she wouldn’t make it, as she was a sickly baby.
The nurse fell in love with the abandoned baby she committed to taking care of. She and her husband decided to adopt her after spending some time with the nine-month-old.
They took her to the beach and even saw a movie with her. After Zinny heard the lovely stories from her parents, she melted:
“I think that’s when they fell in love with me.”
The 23-year-old shared that she has three older siblings, two sisters and a brother who treat her like their little sister:
“I’m the baby of the family.”
Zinny explained that the adoption process was a bit tedious, as her parents first fostered her for a couple of months before she was officially their child.
