A young South African father known as Sibu broke down in tears on camera after South African content creator and philanthropist Keegan Gordon, widely known as Big Man KG, showed up with life-changing news on 25 July 2026.
Sibu had been struggling. He told Gordon he had been job hunting without success, and that the pressure of not being able to provide for his children had brought him to tears that very morning.
"I was crying in the morning, about how I'm going to support my children, how I'm going to pay my bills," he said. "Even my kids have been telling me that, Daddy, please don't give up."
Gordon had previously met Sibu and given him some cash to help keep him afloat in the meantime. But a permanent solution had remained out of reach — until Sibu's story found its way to the right person through Gordon's social media platforms.

Plush Car Wash opens its doors
A local car wash business, Plush Car Wash, saw the video and reached out. Gordon returned to deliver the news in person, telling Sibu:
"People were inspired by your story around the internet, and you've been looking for a job. So I've got a job offer for you from Plush Car Wash."
Sibu's reaction was instant and unfiltered.
"May the Lord help me! Thank you, Jesus. I don't need a sign anymore; I got a job!" he shouted. Footage then showed him already at work inside the car wash, sleeves rolled up and getting on with it.
Gordon, who is originally from Alexandra, Johannesburg, has built a following of over 10 million across his platforms by telling stories like Sibu's. He studied economics and has spoken openly about his own experience of overcoming homelessness.
