A group of women shattered the popular notion that nurses don't earn much by taking to social media to show off their luxury rides, including Audis and Mercedes-Benz in a TikTok video.

One of the nurses shared the cute clip under her handle @srconnie02, gaining 323K views, 28K likes and 1.3K comments from social media users who were inspired by their hard work.

The love for the nursing profession

The Briefly News team had the pleasure of speaking with Connie Modise, the nurse who shared the TikTok video, about her passion for her career. We asked her how long she has been a nurse and where she enrolled for her course and she responded:

"I've been a qualified professional nurse for almost six years now. A proud product of SG Lourens Nursing College in Pretoria."

Nursing is a fulfilling job that requires patience and a caring heart. We asked Connie what is it that she loved most about her work, and she detailed:

"What I love about my job is making a positive difference in the community and their lives by providing quality comprehensive nursing care and support during vulnerable times, witnessing their recovery, and building meaningful relationships with patients.
In doing so, I experience a sense of purpose and fulfilment in doing my job."
