Masemola praises PKTT

Masemola explained how the PKTT, which he said is unmatched in their work, assisted in bringing down Katiso "KT" Molefe. Molefe was arrested for the murder of DJ Sumbody. Masemolas said that senior police officers infiltrated the investigation into the murder of Vereeniging-based engineer Armand Swart.

He said that the team investigating the murder was reduced to two detectives from five after three others received death threats. The two investigators who remained received bribes, which they did not accept. KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi deployed 10 members to assist in investigating the murder. The PKTT eventually arrested Moefe for Swart's murder.
