GAUTENG — South African Police Service leadership has confirmed that the murder of Jabulile Ntimba, the ninth woman found dead in Ekurhuleni within the span of roughly a week, could be connected to a love triangle.
Lieutenant General Tebello Mosikili, the Deputy National Police Commissioner for Policing, made the announcement at a media briefing in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, on 21 September 2026. Mosikili told reporters that three suspects had been arrested in connection with the killing and were expected to appear before the Boksburg Magistrate's Court on the same morning.
