Ethan Hooker impressed by scoring his first-ever try for the Springboks memorably, while Zachary Porthen earned his second test cap following his debut against Japan earlier in November.

South Africans were thrilled by the IsiXhosa commentary shared by SuperSport Rugby when Hooker touched down for what proved to be the Springboks’ final blow against Italy.

Autumn Series success continues for the Springboks

The victory over Italy marked the Springboks’ third consecutive win in the Autumn Series. They previously demolished Japan 61-7 at Wembley and defeated France 32-17.

The team now prepares for their penultimate match against Ireland next weekend, before wrapping up the series with a clash against Wales.
