The moment a 96-year-old woman shed uncontrollable tears when she allegedly reunited with her son after 40 years of being apart was captured in a video.
The clip begins with the nonagenarian sitting in a chair and shedding tears before a woman loudly informs her that her son, Charles Nkansah, is in to meet her. She aged woman was later identified as Afia.

Madam Afia and his son shook hands in the video, which YEN.com.gh discovered on the Oda Citizen Facebook page before he sat down next to her.

When asked why she was crying, the elderly woman admitted she was ill. The condition of her son's knee, which restricts his mobility, was also revealed.
Emotions were stirred by the footage of Madam Afia sobbing hysterically after meeting her son for the first time in four decades.

Kind GH journalist reunites under 2-year-old baby with family
In another story, Briefly News' sister site YEN.com.gh reported that award-winning Ghanaian journalist Regina Asamoah found a family for a young boy who went missing on September 14, 2022, when he was barely two years old.
The infant was willfully kidnapped from the trusting mother who sells bowls at Kasoa Old Market in Ghana, according to the 2019 GJA Best Female Journalist.
The boy was located and reunited with his family due to combined efforts by her team, The Missing Person Unit at the Ghana Police Service Headquarters, and the missing child's family.
