Joy As Couple Celebrate Birth of Twins, They Had After waiting 17 long years

A Nigerian couple who had to endure 17 years of emotional pains while waiting to become parents to more children celebrated their twins' first birthday.
According to Exceptional Emmanuel Okorie who posted about it on Facebook, the woman carried the babies' pregnancy for over three years.
He said he would have taken more pictures at the birthday ceremony if not that there were more tears of joy than actual partying at the event.

17 years patiently waiting
It should be noted that the couple had their first kid 17 years earlier before the long wait.
Many Nigerians commented on the twins' photos, wishing them well. As at the time of writing this report, the post has tens of comments with 147 likes. Briefly News compiled some of the reactions below:

After a long wait, another couple celebrated
Meanwhile, Briefly News earlier reported that another Nigerian couple finally welcomed a set of twins after 27 years of being without a child.
Dr Mike and Dr Modupe Obiora got married on December 11, 1993, and had been praying to conceive ever since.
According to Doctor Modupe, she and her husband held on to God when people thought there was no possibility of conceiving.
She expressed gratitude to God for showing up for her and her husband and proving that there is nothing impossible for Him.
