Getting to know former YoTV presenter Candice Modiselle

Candice Modiselle is a talented young woman who recently decided to give her career a new direction when she left the popular teen show YoTV.

She revealed that leaving the show was one of the toughest decisions that she has made in her life, she shared a touching message on social media in which she thanked her YoTV team and viewers.

"It goes without saying that this alone has been one of the most pivotal experiences of my career, engaging with incredible guests but more importantly with an audience that has shown me an overflowing amount of love from day 1."

Now that she has decided on moving forward with her career people are eager to get to know the media personality.

Briefly.co.za learned that she has an Honours degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Witwatersrand. She puts her qualifications to good use by lecturing at OnCue Communications where she teaches television presenting according to zalebs.co.za.

Things have not always been easy for her and in 2013 she went to 18 auditions without landing a single role, it was only when she turned 21 that she got her first job.

Her mom raised her and her sisters after her father passed away in 1997. She still lives in her mother's house and has no intention of moving out.

Her two sisters, Refilwe and Bontle, are all talented in their own right and are more than capable of living on their own but have decided that they are much happier staying together as a family.
