Bontle Modiselle has made her mark on South Africa's entertainment industry. If anyone knows how to make it in this stressful and ruthless world, it's Bontle. She recently opened up about what it's like surviving and thriving in showbiz.
Beautiful Bontle is multi-talented to the extreme. She's an actress, TV personality, singer, choreographer and radio host all in one package.
While she insists her true passion is still in dancing, she's made a success of all she set her mind to. She is most definitely much more than just a pretty face.
The 28-year-old came from a father who was a model and says she inherited her talents from her mother as well.
ZAlebs reports that she was bitten by the entertainment bug because of Boomshaka.
When I had the idea of wanting to be in the entertainment industry, the first people that introduced that thought to me was Boomshaka. Before my dad passed on - which was in 1997- I think one of the greatest gifts he ever gave me was a Boomshaka cassette, I loved them, I admired them.
The South African beauty first started out in the entertainment biz when she was 16 via dance activities.
She went on to study at the University of Johannesburg and earned her degree in corporate communications. However, that's not where her heart wanted her to be.
Thanks to her sister Refilwe - who had her feet in the media and model industry - Bontle was able to learn more about what she needed to chase her passions.
She gave me all the advice in the world, from how to conduct myself, the types of relationships I should look out for, the ones I should avoid, the ones I need to establish...
Bontle is the mother of a dance production company - Bontle Ba Afrika - and poured her soul into the company. She taught many famous celebs and dancers quite a few things.
South Africa was treated to Bontle's singing talent earlier this year when she contributed her voice to the album of her boyfriend, rapper Priddy Ugly.
Bontle also applied her talents to SABC 2’s Showville and music show Club 808.
Now Bontle is adding another chapter to the book of her achievements. She's joining YFM as a radio presenter.
She'll be on-air with Scoop Makhatini, someone she deeply respects.
We can't wait to see what this stunning and inspiring woman gets up to next!
