Legendary artists like Rebecca Malope, who has sold over 10 Million albums in her career, show just how successful Gospel artist are in Mzansi.

Briefly.co.za has noticed that Gospel artists make up some of the highest earning artist in the Mzansi music scene, and how many artists have moved over to Gospel because of its insanely strong following and insane growth.

Here are the top five highest earning Gospel artists in Mzansi:

1. Rebecca Malope

The African Queen of Gospel has been in the scene for a whopping 30 years, and sold over 10 million albums in her time. She has created and dropped 35 albums with almost all of them having reached multi-platinum, platinum and gold status.

2. Benjamin Dube

Starting his career in 1986, Benjamin has released over 12 extremely successful albums. He is a man of God that leads by only the highest example.

3. Lindelani Mkhize

The Joyous Celebration co-founder has not only slayed in the Gospel scene, but also in the Jazz and Kwaito scenes. Lindelani also owns his record label called Lindelani Mkhize Entertainment.

4. Mthunzi Namba

Pastor Mthunzi is a pioneer in the Gospel scene. He has given rise to Contemporary Gospel Music and produced many a song for the Hugh Masekela, along with many other famous Mzansi artists.

5. Winnie Mashaba

This incredible woman is one of Mzansi’s bestselling Gospel artists. She has released over 15 high quality albums and continues to climb the ladder in the industry, one album at a time.
