Bright Hlongwane is one man who lives up to his name.
Not only has he founded his own media company, but he serves on the boards of several companies.
All of this at the ripe old age of 22!
ENCA have reported that the young man can add another feather in his cap.
He received a personal invite from the United Nations in January.
Hlongwane will represent South Africa at the 2019 United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum.
The forum takes place in New York and this trip will make Hlongwane the first member of his family to travel abroad.
Hlongwane strongly believes in youth empowerment and the role they should play in decision making.
Briefly.co.za understands his speech will be centred on this theme.
Hlongwane has urged his peers to "wake up" and take ownership of their future.
The young man feels this principle should apply in our country as well and cites Malaysia as an example.
He said, “Malaysia has a minister who is 26. We need to be part of decisions for our future.”
