Lekoelea insisted that his prediction is not due to bias due to his former allegiance to the Buccaneers.

TimesLIVE reported that his prediction is based on the form of Chiefs and the brand of football played by TS Galaxy.

Lekoelea said, “I see an upset … maybe first half draw and maybe 1-0 in 90 minutes to TS Galaxy.”

Chiefs’ form saw them only winning once in their last seven matches, which saw them plummeting to ninth on the PSL log.

Lekoelea likened Chiefs to Pirates when it comes to recovering from a loss.

He said, “Pirates and Chiefs are the same‚ because when they lose the match before they play a final‚ they can’t come back at the same time.”
