It’s that time of year again when the top 16 contestants of the popular Miss South Africa pageant will take the stage.

With the main event just weeks away, excitement is building, and the music acts that will be performing at the show have been announced

Some of South Africa's best musicians will be gracing the stage, such as Sho Madjozi, Amanda Black, Nasty C, Jesse Clegg and Rowlene, News24 reported.

In addition, Mzansi's 'Queen B', Bonang Matheba, will be presenting.

Bonang will be joined by star support presenters, Liesl Laurie and Zavion Kotze.

Fans of the pageant can get involved this year, by voting via the Miss SA website, for their favourite of the top 16 contestants.

The contestant with the most viewer votes will then win the Peoples’ Choice award, and get automatically send to the top 10.

The long-awaited Miss SA pageant will take place on South Africa's National Women's Day, 9 August, at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.
