Khanyi Mbau was probably more than a little frustrated with social media users recently.

The actress shared a photo of her from a scene in a movie, and the next thing you know, people are freaking out because she's "pregnant'.

Even popular publication, the Daily Sun, got a little carried away and announced Khanyi's pregnancy.

She took to her Twitter account to tell people to hold up, she's not carrying a bun in the oven.

The snap in question is actually from her film, Red Room, and she shared it because she managed to bag an award for her role.

Briefly.co.za reported that Khanyi won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture at the South African International Film Academy Awards.
