It was a quiet day on the social media streets when Pearl Thusi decided to awaken black Twitter's wrath by defending desperate African nationals who flock to Mzansi.

It's not clear what prompted the tweet, but Pearl said, "Killing African nationals that reside in South Africa is something I will never defend. Defending borders drawn by colonisers will never something I limit myself with."

A lot of Mzansi peeps, who are tired of the multitude of undocumented foreign nationals from impoverished African countries that are roaming SA, came for Pearl's throat.

#PearlThusiMustFall was quickly born.

Pearl remained unbothered by all the hoopla and started joking around with the word "fall."

She wrote, "Let me fall asleep and dream about all the things God has planned for me."
And then added, "Falling in love with Jesus."

Pearl eventually let Twitter trolls know that they do not scare her.

She said, "I am not afraid of hashtags, name calling, personal attacks - it's a waste of time with me. I will always stand by my word."

You've definitely got to admire Pearl for her confidence and always sticking to her guns.

Last month, Briefly.co.za reported that the beauty had turned 32 years old.
