Cassper moved to tears by Tsholo Matshaba's performance on The River

Cassper Nyovest recently took to social media to praise Tsholofelo Matshaba's acting skills on The River. The rapper said he was moved by the scene where the actress spoke at the memorial service of a character named Ntsizwa.

Tsholofelo, who plays the role of Kedibone on the telenovela, gave a moving speech about standing up to Mzansi's inadequate health system.

The Amademoni hitmaker had no choice but to stan Tsholofelo's powerful performance on that scene. Cass wrote:

"Today's episode of #TheRiver1Magic was brilliant!!!! The scene where ous Kedibone spoke at the memorial service had me in tears!!!! Activism through acting and drama. This show is just amazing man!!!! Love it!!!!"

Speaking about the scene, Tsholofelo said:

"We did 2 Takes of this scene. Both times, at the end, I was trembling. When you acknowledge the injustice and the pipe dreams our people are promised... When you acknowledge the pain your people are suffering under the leadership of their supposed people and comrades..."

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Somizi has announced Dr Rebecca Malope as his next guest on his new cooking show titled Dinner At Somizi's.

The media personality took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 22 to reveal to his 3.3 million followers that the gospel singer will appear on his show this Friday, 24 July.

Somgaga advised viewers of the show to bring their tissues because Ribs will dish out rib-cracking jokes during the episode. He also expressed how much he loves the award-winning singer.

"Lord knows how I love this phenomenal woman. She doesn't know that she's my spirit animal. She makes me laugh to tears. Friday is so far but it's worth the wait shemmmmm... Bring your tissue cos @dr_rebeccamalope is gonna have u in stitches."
