In other Oprah Winfrey-related news, Briefly.co.za reported on the billionaire icon's decision not to get married to her longtime partner, Stedman Graham.

Media personality and icon, Oprah Winfrey, has chosen to remain unmarried and is happy about her decision. She and her man, Stedman Graham, have been together since 1986 and are still enjoying each other's company and their relationship. According to All4Women, they both agree that if they had gotten married, things would not have worked out.

People have been wondering for years if Oprah and Stedman would tie the knot or no and she knows it.

"There were hundreds of tabloid stories, weekly, on whether we would marry. In 1993, the moment after I said yes to his proposal, I had doubts. I realised I didn’t actually want a marriage. I wanted to be asked. I wanted to know he felt I was worthy of being his missus."

However, Oprah added that she didn't want the compromises and sacrifices necessary to make a marriage work. Her work came first, Briefly.co.za gathered.

"My life with the show was my priority, and we both knew it." Oprah described Stedman as a real gentleman and said they have a spiritual relationship that benefits them both.

"Anyone who’s ever met him is always amazed by what a genuine gentleman he is. He’s so positive. Wants the best for me and everyone he knows. Truly wishes people well. Our romance is what Gary Zukav defines as a spiritual partnership: partnership between equals for the purpose of spiritual growth."
