South Africans all over the country are celebrating the crowning of a new Miss SA. One such South African is Minister for Finance Tito Mboweni. The Twitter chef recently took to the app - not to share another picture of his infamous homemade meals but to congratulate the young lady who just earned herself the prestigious title of Miss SA, Shudufhadzo Musida.
"Felicitations! Miss South Africa! Take a bow Limpopo, South Africa! Limpopo Queen. Halala," wrote Mboweni in his Twitter post.
While a few South Africans called the minister out for specifying that the young lady was from Limpopo, many of them simply took the opportunity to share their congratulatory messages with Shudu, as she is now affectionately called by her adoring fans. Read some of their thoughts below.

"She's not a Limpopo queen she is a South African queen. Stop this thing of tribalism. We are one united nation. She is a South African and everyone in SA is proud of her."
@QueenV1981 joked:
"Minister why don't you invite her for supper?"

"This is natural beauty and intelligence counts. She answered the question well, from me she deserved a win. That's my opinion anyway."
This weekend Briefly.co.za reported that the long wait has finally come to an end. On the evening of 24 October, Shudufhadzo Musida was crowned Miss SA 2020. The 24-year-old model hails from Limpopo and her passion for mental health has been reflected throughout the competition.
At the age of 24, Shudufadzo Musida has wowed the nation because of her brevity and confidence in the Miss SA 2020 competition. Her reception on social media and the country at large has been exceptional.
At her age, the current Miss SA has not only landed the much-sought-after position but also walks away with a staggering R3 million! How impressive is that? However, this was a labour of love that the beauty with brains worked for and the prospects that she has about the position are proof of how passionate she is about giving back to society.
