Britney Spears has decided to take the legal route in terms of getting her father, Jamie Spears, removed as a co-conservator of her estate. This comes after social media blew up when it was leaked that Jamie had been abusing his control.

After having done her best to get her mind right, Britney knew this was the final step she needed to take in order to start being able to live a happy life again. Her attorney, Sam Ingham, filed new documents on Tuesday, November 3, outlining her request to remove her father as co-conservator of her estate.

Jamie has held the responsibility for 12 years and it has been alleged that he has abused it by having had Britney locked up and medicated when it was not necessarily needed. He abused his power and Britney suffered as a result.

It has been reported that Jamie took full control of Britney’s life to the point that she was not allowed to drive, go anywhere unattended and was even given a very minimal allowance which came from her own money.

A source told Us that Britney is doing a lot better mentally and that Jamie is trying to find any way to keep control over her. He is clearly scared to lose the financial control and all that came with it.

“There has been significant improvement in Britney’s overall medical treatment plan, which has been attributed to no longer having her father in charge of her personal life.”

Briefly.co.za previously reported that the showbiz industry is quite an interesting one as there is always something to get fans buzzing. A lot of talented celebrities have their own fans who are ever-ready to take up their issues and fight for them when they feel it is necessary.

Just recently, American singer and songwriter, Britney Spears, was attacked by one of the biggest fan bases on social media, the Beyhive.

It all started when the Womanizer singer referred to herself as Queen B on Instagram and encouraged her fans to also call her that. The musician did this while sharing the photo of a bedazzled bee with a crown.
