A local man with the Twitter handle, @Nka_ngwenya recently caused quite a hilarious stir about Shoprite online after he tweeted that he had bought oysters from the local grocery store and that they were horrible.
"These oysters from Shoprite are so horrible," he wrote in a tweet that has now been deleted.
Even though he deleted the tweet after Mzansi started making a plethora of jokes about it, many tweeps were way too fast for him and managed to take screenshots of it. A lot of them could not believe that he was complaining about oysters from Shoprite.
A lot of them also wondered what exactly he had expected from a store that catered to people who usually shop on a budget and of course a lot of fun was poked at him. Read a few of their tweets about it below:
@YolandaKarabo asked:
"Shoprite has oysters?"

In more funny Briefly.co.za news, a young fitness enthusiast recently received a hilarious reaction from her followers after she uploaded a video of herself doing one heck of an intense workout that involved sprinting on a treadmill, swinging a dumbbell, and doing lunges at full speed.
The clip, which was shared on Twitter by a young lady with the handle @ZolaAmanda, quickly received 8.4k likes from presumably other fitness enthusiasts. People who did not think that exercise was worth the trouble resorted to making hilarious comments about the clip.
While some made jokes about the lady being able to beat up a dude, others wondered why she would put herself through so much in the name of fitness.
