AKA has taken to social media show his gratitude to fans after his talk show, The Braai Show, was renewed for Season two. The rapper said that the show averaged 2.4 million viewers each week.
Social media users congratulated him for the win. Twitter user RMWaluja said:
“We want Cassper on Season 2.”
CueSibiya said:
“Well done. Please partner with my uncle’s butchery just for one episode. His meat is the best.”
Illvuyo said:
“Do we count number of TV's switched on because mina and my house, more than 10 people watched. Check your numbers again, it might be double”

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za reported that AKA's SABC 1 show titled The Braai Show has been kicked off the channel's Top 10 most-watched shows. The programme hit a slump in January 2021 after doing very well over the previous few months.
The rapper-turned-TV presenter hosted Robert Marawa, Laduma and Prince Kaybee in January. None of those episodes pulled enough viewers to make it onto the list of Top 10 SABC 1 shows. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela wrote on Twitter recently:
"TV: The Braai Show With AKA off SABC1 Top 10. The show, with a decently performing season, hit a slump in January when none of its episodes pulled enough viewers to crack the Top 10. January guests Prince KB, Laduma & Robert Marawa pulled below 2.5-mil."
Social media users have shared mixed reactions to the show hitting a slump last month. Check out some of their comments below:

"The show is wack, I accidentally saw the Robert Marawa one, AKA is the worst interviewer ever, boring."
@It_is_Just_Dave said:
"He cuts people off while they are still talking, which is very bad coz in order to be a good interviewer you must be a good listener."
@TheHipHopMayor commented:
"In this case I think problem ke host, guests were interesting but the host wasn't asking those hard-hitting and creative questions that will get you glued to the screen. Anyways, in my opinion."
@PrimroseMalaza said:
"I think this was a good show concept, maybe try on another channel at a different time?"
@Nthabi_moka2 added:
"I always forget to watch it, the contributing factor for me is I'm always between channel 194 (Scandal) and 161 (Gomora)."
