Unemployed Lady Begs for Job, Says She Does Not Mind Being a Taxi Driver

A lady, Mary Allen, has taken her job-hunting frustration to LinkedIn where she narrated how she has been without employment for nine months.
Mary who lives in Port Harcourt said that all the money she had saved up is fast running out as there are no sources of income.
The lady disclosed that at a point in those months, she told herself that if nothing turns up, she will go into driving for a taxi-hailing service.
Mary added that she would excel in that as she is already a good driver with an amazing customer service experience.
The lady, therefore, called for help, asking people to connect her with any hire purchase dealership that could give a car on an installment payment plan.

The determined Nigerian even said she does not mind relocating if she gets a car in another state. Mary ended her post with:
“After all, the only way after hitting rock bottom is going upward.”

Ayanda Mbatha is a mechanical engineering technician who was retrenched in May 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Instead of losing hope, Mbatha, 26, decided to take his battle to the streets. He printed out CVs and made a sign that summed up his qualifications. Mbatha made his way to the Katherine and West Street traffic lights to ask South Africans for help.
However, he was chased away by security guards. The engineer then went to the Hyde Park Corner traffic light intersection and was overwhelmed with support.
