While South Africa is yet to secure first doses of the Covid-19 vaccinations for its people, other countries have already rolled out second doses for most of their people - England is one of them. Queen Elizabeth recently made her appearance at an event without a mask after she received her second dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
The Queen, who is now fully vaccinated, went out to mark the Centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force at the CWGC Air Forces Memorial in Surrey which is just a short distance away from Windsor castle, without a mask.
In January this year, it was confirmed by the royal family that the queen and her husband Prince Phillip had received the first dose of the vaccine but made no mention as to when they would be taking the second dose.
The Guardian previously reported that the queen had remarked that getting the vaccine wasn't painful at all. During an interview with BBC, she also encouraged her people to consider going for the jab.
Meanwhile, people have had this to say about her getting the second prick:

"She does realize that the vaccines are not 100 percent effective?"
@iHumble said:
"The Queen threw her mask away after getting her vaccine too. Ok. Ok."

"Great; Grandmother the representation consulted. Great day to you:"
In other Briefly.co.za news, Queen Elizabeth, in all her royal highness, could not deter the coronavirus from affecting her life as much as it did us normal 'human beings'. It has been decided that amidst the pandemic, the Queen and presumably her husband, Prince Philip, would not be returning to their permanent home, Buckingham Palace, for the foreseeable future.
The two will instead take refuge in their other home, just about an hour away from the palace, Windsor Castle. The Queen and her husband are currently on a summer vacation in Scotland.
Her son Prince William was recently reported to have tested positive for the virus but has since made a full recovery. Having recently turned 96 years old, the Queen is at a higher risk of catching the virus, which is why the best decision for her health and safety was to move to her private home.
