The Duke of Edinburgh died on Friday, 9 April, aged 99, after an extended period of illness that saw him in and out of the hospital.

It started with a hospital admission on 16 February, followed by a heart operation at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, after which he was taken back to the King Edward VII hospital.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their royal life in 2020 and exited the palace to start a new life in California with their son Archie.

According to the couple, Meghan is pregnant and will stay away from the royal ceremony on the advice of her doctor.

This will be Harry's first reunion with his people since their interview with Oprah Winfrey which went viral after they painted the royal family negatively.

Meghan lamented feeling miserable and having to deal with a nagging concern from a family member over the skin colour of their then-unborn son Archie.
