Mzansi author Jackie Phamotse has just bagged herself an impressive deal with Netflix to have her book Bare: The Blesser's Games made into a film on the video streaming platform. Taking to social media, Jackie announced the news and is very excited.

“Reading my movie manuscript is wild!!!! Seeing my name and Sabelo together is insane! This guy worked on all the SA hits on Netflix!"

Jackie has joined a number of Mzansi entertainers who have deals with Netflix and is thrilled to see her words coming to life.

The author published her book in 2018 and it wasn't exactly met with a warm reception. Many criticised Jackie's point of view and thought she was selling people out.

Jackie paid no mind to the haters and will now get the chance to have her story re-told for those who would like to see it in motion picture. She's currently working on a new book titled Liwa.

In other entertainment news, Briefly News reported that Skhumba trended on his last show before moving to the breakfast show at Kaya FM. Mzansi radio personality Skhumba is trending on social media after he did his last slot in the afternoon show on Kaya FM.

Skhumba has been promoted to a new position on the radio station to work alongside Thomas Msengana on the breakfast show. Judging by the reactions on social media, Skhumba did a decent job on his last show and the fans enjoyed it.

Many are looking forward to seeing what he'll be doing on the breakfast show with Thomas.
