Cancel Culture Guns for Thuso Mbedu on Social Media, She Claps Back

- Tweeps labelled Mbedu a 'homophobe' for interacting with someone who has already been given the title
- She ended up deleting the post but not before clapping back at the cancel culture

Thuso Mbedu is getting ready for the premier of her highly anticipated drama series The Underground Railroad, but she trended for an entirely different reason on Wednesday.
Mbedu thanked MacG for his support on her Twitter account and ended up getting dragged for associating with the radio DJ who has been labelled homophobic.
"Thank you @podcastwithmacg for the shoutout. Congrats and well done for the leaps y'all are making. And no angijoli noMusa waze wangishimisa ngimncane.
"Dr Musa, please get married soon and make a huge spectacle out of it so the world knows that we were never a thing," she hilariously said.

Social media user, @Melusi_MD, fired shots at Mbedu for making jokes with MacG and he wasn't alone.
"Thuso Mbedu knows. She's choosing to interact with tweets that agree with her and ignoring those correcting her. A homophobe."

Some even called for Mbedu's premier to be boycotted and she had no idea why she was being cancelled for thanking someone for their love.
"The way ngidideke ngakhona (I am so confused). What's being investigated? Bathe congrats. I said thanks. I'm not sure what's going on beyond that," she responded.
However, she ended up deleting the tweet after asking someone she trust's opinion.
She said:
"I deleted a previous post as it seems to have offended some. I didn’t know why so I went to someone that I trust & who I knew could give me better insight. Others chose to educate me and it’s out of care and respect for them that I deleted my post."
However, Mbedu clapped back at people who criticise others without educating them about the issue.
Meanwhile, Briefly News reported Mbedu is having a great time in America and is celebrating a new milestone in her career. She's been featured in a magazine in the country before but now she's going to be the covergirl - something she's proud of.
Taking to social media, Thuso spoke about how happy she was to be in Emmy Magazine. She made a beautiful post with snaps from the magazine to show her fans.
"My first U.S cover on Emmy Magazine! To tell you that I bawled like a baby when I saw that “Faith, Hope, Love” some know that it’s the tattoo that’s on my collar bone but not many know why," said Thuso.
