“Excellent”: Mzansi Reacts to Waitress Who Got 100% Tip for Best Service

- A Durban lady working as a waitress at one of the top restaurants could not believe her eyes when she handed a tip of a cool R975

- Nqobile Ngobese took to Facebook to thank the customer who gave her a handsome tip for her service at the food outlet

- Many Facebook users have since praised the unnamed woman and encouraged the waitress to keep dishing out excellent service

A woman has inspired many on social media circles after issuing a 100% tip to a waitress who served her at a restaurant.

According to a post on Facebook by ImStaying, the woman tipped Nqobile Makalulubear Ngobese of R975 two days ago.

Ngobese says she always pushes to give her customers the best service and she has thanked the lady for making her day.

She wrote:

“Thank you very much to the people who congratulated, it was a very deserved tip after the service that I give to all my customers and to those who are criticising hopefully one day you’ll understand how the restaurant industry works.
“And see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanking her was just not for Facebook. I was really thanking her from the bottom of my heart and it really showed there are still good people in the world.”

Briefly News reported that a Kind Samaritan, who asked to remain anonymous, visited the Las Vegas Spur in East London after he heard about Xolani Mbalo's story.

The 24-year-old received a R4 tip 'for the hungry Africans' from a group of racially abusive teens. So, the local traveller decided to visit the same Spur earlier the month to give Mbalo a proper tip.
