Kanye West's Donda Academy is facing a lawsuit from two former teachers who allege disturbing practices at the private Christian school. The teachers, who are black, claim that they were fired for raising concerns about education, health, and safety violations, as well as for their race.

Allegations of disturbing practices at Kanye West's Donda Academy

The suit outlines a litany of disturbing practices at the school, including its lunch policy, which reportedly consists solely of sushi, and its requirement that students eat on the floor without tables or chairs.

Additionally, the suit claims that the school did not have a janitor or nurse and that student medications were stored in an insecure closet.

Ex-teachers at Donda Academy claim retaliation and racial discrimination

Perhaps most concerning, the suit alleges that students at the Donda Academy were subject to bullying and physical assaults with no consequences and that the school's leadership threatened the teachers when they tried to report these incidents. The teachers claim that Kanye did not allow them to discuss these problems with him directly.

The teachers also allege that West had several other bizarre rules, such as forbidding Nike and Adidas brands, not allowing any artwork to be hung on the walls, and banning jewellery because he didn't like it.

According to Billboard, students were prohibited from using forks or utensils, and classes could not occur on the second floor because Kanye feared stairs.

Concerns raised about safety and education standards at Donda Academy

It is unclear at this time what Kanye's response to the lawsuit will be. However, the allegations against the Donda Academy are deeply concerning and suggest that the school was operating in a highly unorthodox and potentially unsafe manner.
