“With ‘Dynamite’ I made 2022 and then ‘Mr. Media’, I made in London, actually. Yeah, with the usual crew. Yeah, it’s a banger. You know with bangers I don’t really like explaining songs, like it says what it means. Like I’m excited about it. I feel like I needed to let out that one,” she said.
Tyla went on to share how Wizkid was humble enough to hop onto a song with her despite her being relatively unknown at the time.
“It was very exciting, you know, 'cause at the time I was very new, like a lot of people didn't know me, so I didn't expect him to be down for a session, you know? But he was. And he liked some of the stuff I played him that I made at the time. And yeah, like, we literally made ‘Dynamite’. We made ‘Dynamite’. And I was sitting on that demo for three years like playing it and dancing in my room. Just praying to God like ‘God one day the song is gonna come out’, and it’s coming out,” Tyla explained.
