In a video on social media by @SonyMusic Africa, DJ Maphorisa's mother was first to take to the stage at the Scorpion Kings Live show. Briefly News reported on the highly anticipated concert that took place at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. She led cheering fans into prayer and shared some touching sentiments. Porry's mom's prayer was the first religious moment of the night as Cassper Nyovest later had a short worship session.

DJ Maphorisa’s mother blessed the event with postive affrimations before performances started in a clip shared by @yanolyrics on TikTok. She appeared on stage and asked the crowd to repeat after her as she began her prayer. DJ Maphorisa's mom recited:

The A-Z (Yashi Imoto) hitmaker had a stadium packed with supporters from all around the country, who went to watch him and other artists do their thing, and his mom was among them.
