Metro FM's radio personality, Lamiez Holworthy, reveals that she was with DJ Poizen and Chymamusique in Mokopane, Limpopo Province, on Friday, 29 August 2025, before the car accident.

Holworthy has also asked South Africans and Chymamusique's fans to pray for his recovery as he's currently hospitalised after the car crash.

The media personality shared on her Facebook account on Saturday, 30 August 2025, that she was heartbroken over the car accident that claimed the life of DJ Poizen.

"I had the honour of playing at the launch of both Poizen and Chymamusique’s album launches just last night in Mokopane," wrote Holworthy.

The DJ also shares that Poizen and Chymamusique also supported her at her next gig in Turfloop.

Holworthy adds that she, Poizen, and Chymamusique were pleased, and she even teased the House DJs for enjoying Amapiano so much.

"I'm watching videos in disbelief. Imagine waking up just a few hours later to hear of a tragic car accident?!
"Pelo yaka e bohloko (my heart is broken), and I am at a loss for words," adds Holworthy.

The Metro FM radio personality has also asked South Africans to pray for Poizen’s loved ones and to continue praying for Chymamusique’s recovery.

Shebeshxt was involved in another car accident
