Tough times are over for South African actor Given Stuurman. According to reports, the beloved child star has landed a new role in a Black Brain Productions project.
Details about his new acting gig have not been fully revealed yet; however, Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela reported that the show is in production.
This wonderful news comes after the former Scandal! star hogged headlines for being broke. According to Drum, neighbours revealed his financial struggles, with one implying that he was using substances.
When asked about rumours, Given seemingly admitted that he was struggling, but was willing to make things work for his child.

Mphela took to Twitter (X) on Wednesday, 3 September, to share that Given finally has a job, and they are filming it in Gauteng.
"Stuurman stars in an upcoming project produced by Black Brain Pictures, currently in production in Gauteng."
This will mark the actor's return to screens after starring in a number of shows, including City Ses'la, Black Tax, Igazi, and Skeem Saam.
Fans congratulated the star, saying they wished he could get his life back in order.
