Limpopo Artists Movement Chairperson, Mphoza Mashabela, also rejected media reports that Poizen's family could not afford to bury him.

"I want to clarify, it's not true that the family didn't have money to bury him. As an organisation, we can clarify that DJ Poizen was a responsible man," he said.

Mashabela added that Poizen had active policies and was covered by both SAMRO and SAMPARA.

South Africans react to DJ Poizen's funeral service

@Waylonjunior said:

"So DJ Poizen dies in a horrific crash on ANC-neglected roads, and the first thing the ANC does is slap their logo on his funeral.👀 Not a single ounce of shame.🚮"

@Mrbaitmaster reacted:

"So, if the ANC was there to put their logo, why was the family busy asking the public for donations?"

@svukeve commented:

"R.I.P Poizen🕊️🕊️🕊. The ANC audaciously pushes its narrative even in the sacred space of funerals, revealing a striking lack of respect."

@crazythatoo reacted:

"Was he an ANC affiliate, or are they sponsoring the funeral? If he was not the former, then maANC ba rata bo mponeng because that logo is unnecessary."

@bushy_cor said:

"We still have not heard who was driving in the wrong lane because it was a head-on collision."

@OscarB_nice commented:

"I think the ANC in Letaba could have paid for the funeral. ANC is an organisation; the logo could have been a prerequisite. Same as if it were an event sponsored by Savannah, you'd see their branding everywhere. But I'm just assuming, considering what I've seen working in marketing."
