Musician Collen Mmotla, aka Chymamusique, has shared another battle he's facing after the car accident that claimed his friend, DJ Poizen's life on Saturday, 30 August 2025.

Chymamusique topped social media trends after the accident, when he shared a video of himself in a wheelchair and leaving the hospital.

The Limpopo-born artist shared a photo of himself recovering at home on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning, 16 September 2025.

He wrote: "Another battle. Lawyers are chasing you for RAF claims, while you are simply seeking physical, national, and mental healing.

"So, money is really a top priority mo lefaseng (on earth), huh."

The musician also shared on his X account on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, that he's learning a lot through this tough phase.

Mmotla shared on his social media that there’s a lot he's learning through this tough phase, and he wouldn’t wanna die without sharing, because it would help the next person.

"Please appreciate where you are in life; a lot can change in a split second."
