Former Scandal! actress Sive Mabuya recently opened up about motherhood and being pregnant on the set of How to Ruin Love: The Lobola.

Mabuya, who had social media buzzing when she announced her pregnancy after Shaka Ilembe recently announced the arrival of her baby.

The Smoke and Mirrors star leads the cast of Netflix's popular series How to Ruin Love: The Lebola, where she plays the role of Zoleka.

Mabuya shares in an interview with Drum Magazine that she was 4 months pregnant when she shot Netflix's comedy drama How to Ruin Love: The Lobola.

"It felt like I was shooting in slow motion. I kept on feeling paranoid about my pregnancy because there's a lot of physicality this time around," says Mabuya.

The former Scandal! actress, who recently gave birth to her son, adds that motherhood has been good so far.

"It's only now that I've gotten into the groove of things. He's about 2 months, and the sleeping patterns have changed; there's regulation now," adds the star.

Mabuya also admits that she loves being a mom more than being a mom-to-be.

Social media user @Mlimo02 shared on his X account on 8 October 2025 that Mabuya and her husband have welcomed their baby.

"Actress Sive Mabuya celebrates the arrival of her baby boy. What a beautiful blessing," he wrote.
